Lancashire ends a stretch of three-straight games on the road at long-time rivals London Lituanica on Sunday. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. from NewVic College in Newham.

Following Sunday’s game, the Spinners will then host four of their next six at Castle Leisure Centre as they look to gain traction in the National League standings. Currently 4-8 in league play, and 5-12 overall, Lancashire is in 11th place following consecutive defeats.

The Spinners are just 2-7 on the road this season with their only wins coming at Worthing and Hemel. Lancashire is averaging 77.4 points per game in league play on 41 percent (346-of-844) shooting from the floor and 34.1 percent (114-of-334) from 3-point range.

Fourth year guard Mark Rangeley continues to lead the Spinners offensively with 15.9 points per game in league play. Rangeley is shooting 43.8 percent (70-of-160) from the floor and 38.1 percent (32-of-84) from beyond the arc.

Point guard Jack Hudson ranks second at 14.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game whilst leading the team in assists at 5.3 per game. He’s shooting 40.3 percent (62-of-154) from the field.

17-year-old forward Zion Tordoff enters averaging 8.7 points on 46.3 percent (31-of-67) shooting. Tordoff is the Spinners’ third leading rebounder at 5.6 per game and he’s grabbing an even two offensive boards per game. Over a current stretch of four contests, he is averaging 16.5 points and 8.8 rebounds, committing just one turnover and has recorded back-to-back double doubles.

London is coming off a 99-86 victory over Bradford at home and is 8-7 overall and 6-5 in divisional action. Lituanica is just 5-3 at NewVic College, but they’ve won two-straight, which extended their overall streak to three games. Mantas Guzys is averaging 21.3 points over that stretch.

Sunday will be the eighth meeting overall between the Spinners and Lituanica dating back to the 2014/15 season. London holds a narrow 4-3 advantage in the series, having defeated Lancashire at Castle Leisure Centre to start National League play on Oct. 8.

Forward Connor Murtagh, who will miss his second-straight game through injury, paced the Spinners in October’s 87-62 loss with 19 points and eight rebounds. Lancashire, however, shot just 37 percent (27-of-73) and was 2-of-15 (13.3 percent) from 3-point land.
