DERBY, Derbys. — Mark Rangeley scored a season-high 31 points and hit the game winning shot in overtime to lift Lancashire past Derby 99-98 on Sunday afternoon.

Jack Hudson had 23 points — his seventh 20-point game of the season — and Connor Murtagh added 18 for the Spinners (7-17, 6-13).

Lancashire led by as many as 15 in the first half, but had to battle back from a five-point fourth quarter deficit to force overtime.

Rangeley’s layup with 1.5 seconds left in the extra period gave Lancashire a one-point lead. Derby, who was without a timeout, lobbed an inbounds pass up court to Max Morrison, but his shot bounced off the front of the rim.

Matthew Ward-Hibbert scored 26 points and Morrison added 24 points and 18 rebounds for the Trailblazers (18-8, 13-6), which had their three-game win streak snapped.

NOTES: Lancashire held just its eighth halftime lead … Led 48-40 against Derby on Sunday … Lancashire improved to 5-3 when holding the lead at halftime … David Walsh added 10 points.
