Ken Masser, General Manager of Basketball England’s Lancashire Spinners, confirmed on Saturday that point guard Jack Hudson has signed for the club for the upcoming season.

“Jack is not only a high calibre basketball player, but he’s also a man of high character,” said Masser. “We’re thrilled that he has decided to be a part of what we’re building.”

Hudson, 22, spent the last three years at Liverpool Basketball Club where he won two league titles and three national championships. In 2015-16, he was named Most Valuable Player of the playoff finals and finished second in Division 2’s Player of the Year voting. The Liverpool native’s 14.3 points per game ranked second on the team whilst he led the league in both assists (7.1 APG) and steals (2.4 STL). The 6-foot-2 guard turned professional at age 17 when he joined the Mersey Tigers following a junior career with Liverpool and the Manchester Magic.
