PRESTON, Lancs. — Mark Rangeley scored 19 points, but Lancashire couldn’t slow down Reading in a 95-75 defeat on Saturday.

Danny Carter scored 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting, including six 3-pointers and Craig Ponder added 21 to lead Reading (21-5, 18-3), which extended its win streak to 18 games. The Rockets’ 11 3-pointers tied for third most against the Spinners.
Lancashire grabbed a 14-9 lead with 4:53 in the opening quarter, but Reading methodically cut into its deficit and Carter’s 3-pointer sparked a 5-0 burst to help push the visitors in front.
Reading, which shot 54 percent, then broke open a one-possession game by scoring the first 12 points of the second quarter before extending its lead to as many as 30 after halftime.
