Jack Hudson had a game-high 21 points for the Spinners, but Loughborough was able to extend its National League unbeaten run to five games on Saturday.
Mark Rangeley added 16 points – just two in the second half – for Lancashire (2-8-1-4), who shot 29 percent after halftime in an eventual 89-67 road loss.
Lancashire trailed by as many as seven points throughout the first half, but a Hudson 3-pointer gave the visitors a 49-48 lead early in the third quarter.
Loughborough (6-3, 5-0) regained its advantage on the next possession and never trailed again, building a 16-point lead following three-straight 3-pointers.
The Student Riders had seven players finish in double figures, including former Spinner Alex Roberts (10 points). Reiss Pinnock scored a team-high 18 and grabbed seven rebounds.
Sam Broughton had 12 points and Levi Noel, Jonas Dieterich, Henri Langton all added 11 each for Loughborough, who shot 47 percent for the game.
NOTES: Forward Zion Tordoff made his return to the lineup for the Spinners playing 16 minutes … Lancashire was outrebounded 44-38 and narrowly edged 34-30 in the paint.
Loughborough’s bench outscored the Spinners 38-13 … Finished 11 of 23 from 3-point range.
