PRESTON, Lancs. — Mark Rangeley finished with 18 points and David Ulph added 12 points and 13 rebounds to help Lancashire halt its six-game losing streak in a crucial 73-65 comeback win over Worthing on Sunday.
Zion Tordoff and Spas Nikolov each had 10 points and Jack Hudson dished out six assists to go along with 13 points for the Spinners (6-16, 5-12 National League 1), who improved to 3-0 in games played at Myerscough College.
Despite shooting just 39 percent from the field, Lancashire overturned a 14-point deficit, including a 38-28 halftime hole. The Spinners are now 2-12 when trailing at the break.
Lancashire limited Worthing to seven third-quarter points, which tied the fewest by an opponent this season, before taking advantage of a 10-0 run to grab a 46-43 lead.
The Spinners then led by as many as 10 in the fourth quarter in a game that saw 13 lead changes.
Lyonell Gaines, who entered averaging 32 points per game, scored 24 on 11-of-27 shooting to carry Worthing (8-17, 5-15). Jack Sunderland and Josh Brown combined for 25 points.
